Dr. Rolf-Günther Nieberding
CEO Krause Automation
Dr. Rolf-Günther Nieberding studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. After graduating, he worked as a research engineer at Daimler-Benz and completed his doctorate at the University of Siegen on engine combustion. He then completed an MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau and worked as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. In 2003, he moved to the management of a medium-sized automotive supplier, where he was involved in the development of new product markets and important economic regions. In 2009, he took on his first restructuring mandate at a globally positioned Tier 1 group, which was acquired by investors out of bankcruptcy, and managed the company until its sale to another global automotive group. Since 2013, Dr. Nieberding has held various management positions, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Financial Officer and consultant for global automotive suppliers. Most recently, Dr. Rolf-Günther Nieberding worked as a consultant for thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology. Since September 2024, Dr. Rolf-Günther Nieberding has served as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering. After the acquisition by Agile Robots SE and the company’s rebranding as Krause Automation, he remains in his role as CEO.
Alexander Müller
CFO Krause Automation
Alexander Müller has been employed at thyssenkrupp since 2007. After joining thyssenkrupp Rothe Erde Germany GmbH as Associate/Trainee Controlling & Finance, he was Head of Controlling & Finance at Robrasa Rolamentos Especiais Rothe Erde Ltda in Brazil from 2013. From 2018 to 2021, he headed the CAR division of the Springs & Stabilizers business unit of thyssenkrupp Federn und Stabilisatoren GmbH. He then moved to the position of CFO of the Springs and Stabilizers NAFTA business unit of thyssenkrupp Components Technology de Mexico S.A. de C.V.
At thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering he has been CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of the business unit since March 1, 2024. Following the acquisition by Agile Robots SE, he continues in his role as CFO.
